The didactic approach of the International English Summer Camp aims to stimulate “aural comprehension” and “oral production”. During the summer camp students from Italy and Lithuania will have many opportunities to experience spontaneous communication in L2, interacting in motivating and playful contexts focused on their own interests. Therefore, students can express themselves freely and instinctively, without inhibitions. With the assistance of native speaker tutors from various English-speaking countries students are encouraged to open up to new ideas and cultures while learning to become citizens of the world.
Theme Sustainable development education, together with the conservation of natural resources, represent challenges that are no longer avoidable for this and future generations.
Respectively, camp’s educational activities will be based on following themes: natural resource conservation, energy usage, the waste cycle, and the education of sustainable development.
