Erasmus+ project „Reading with ease and fun – 2“ in Slovenia
The teachers of “Erudito Lyceum” are professionals who not only seek to educate students, but also constantly strive to learn and find ways to improve. As a result, our teachers have been participating in the ongoing Erasmus + project “Reading with ease and fun – 2” for the third year in a row.
This time, a team of psychologist Rūta Žiaunienė and English teacher Jolanta Sabaliauskienė went to Slovenia, where they visited two primary schools, and watched the teachers’ work as they developed students’ reading and writing skills. Listened to reports from teachers, students, and the higher education community on the development of reading skills in their schools and in the country.
Teachers were introduced to special rooms in school, such as a sensory room where students could relax and perform tasks that required more concentration. They also had the opportunity to get to know the cooperation system of the National Library, which cooperates with schools in Slovenia. We believe that the acquired knowledge will be useful for further work in the “Erudite Lyceum” and will help us to improve and grow as a community!
