Akvilė Kvieskaitė
Akvilė, who graduated from the Vytautas Magnus University with a degree in mathematics pedagogy, is currently pursuing studies in finance. Through exchange programs, she studied in Spain and the USA, completed summer studies at the University of Oxford, and participated in training sessions in Germany. She also presented a paper at one of the largest youth conferences, “Change the World Model United Nations”, in New York. Additionally, she presented her academic article at the “Young Scientist 2024” conference.
Akvilė serves as a mentor for international students at VMU. In her free time, she travels to various countries and plays beach volleyball. Her diverse experiences allow her to approach mathematics education from various perspectives, linking theoretical knowledge with practical and real-life situations, and integrating various learning tools and methods into her lessons.
She believes that mathematics is a mental exercise that promotes logical, analytical, and creative thinking, and the role of a mathematics teacher is to collaborate with students in developing
