Algirdas Navickas

Algirdas has been working as a teacher in the fields of computer science, STEAM, and robotics for three years. Holding several higher education degrees, including a master’s in smart manufacturing engineering, Algirdas believes that engineering’s commitment is to promote innovations that not only enrich our technological world but also contribute to sustainable development. This profession provides an opportunity to pause and reflect on how we can combine various fields of science and creativity with sustainability principles to create life-enhancing, long-lasting technologies.

Algirdas considers his internship at the CERN laboratory to be his most impressive experience. The knowledge he gained not only broadened his horizons but also serves as a reminder that the latest scientific advancements are within reach and can be integrated into contemporary education processes.

He maintains that it is important to foster students’ awareness and collaborate with them so that together we can create a world where various sciences, technologies, and the environment coexist in harmony.
