Evelina Žygaitė

Pre-School Teacher

Evelina graduated from Vytautas Magnus University, in the Teacher Education Institute of the Academy of Education, with a bachelor’s degree in Primary Education Pedagogy and a teaching qualification. Currently, she is completing her master’s studies at Mykolas Romeris University, specializing in Child Rights Protection. With over 5 years of pedagogical experience, Evelina accumulated her expertise in early and pre-primary education, working with children of different ages from diverse linguistic, ethnic, cultural, religious, socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as those with special educational needs. Throughout these years, she has realized that for a teacher, the most important aspect is ensuring the individual learning success and well-being of each child. Moreover, establishing a close and respectful relationship with children, and creating a cozy, trustworthy, safe, friendly, and motivating environment, require not only the ability to organize inclusive, child-centered education that caters to diverse learning needs but also recognizing and acknowledging students as unique individuals with distinct qualities and varied life experiences. Evelina strongly resonates with “Erudito” licėjus educational philosophy, hence she dedicates a lot of attention to fostering critical thinking in her classroom’s educational process.
