Gvidas Tupinis
Gvidas is a passionate educator with a strong background in computer science, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computing from Vilnius University. Since 2018, he has been teaching Computer Science at Vilnius Jesuit High School, where he focused on coding, computer literacy, and the fundamentals of technology. His teaching approach emphasizes developing students’ logical, analytical, and critical thinking skills, while fostering their curiosity and encouraging them to explore the “why” and “how” behind the concepts they learn.
Before joining Vilnius Jesuit High School, he taught robotics and programming at “Robotikos Akademija”, where he introduced school children to the basics of robotics, coding, and natural sciences. This experience helped him cultivate a hands-on, inquiry-based teaching style that he continue to bring into his current role.
In addition to his classroom experience, since 2015 Gvidas has served as a camp leader at “Lietuvos atgaja”, a long-established summer camp known for its focus on environmental education, creativity, and personal growth. There, he worked closely with children in a dynamic, outdoor setting, guiding them through various challenges and nurturing their enthusiasm for learning, culture and self-discovery. This role allowed him to connect with students in a unique and meaningful way, helping them reflect on their experiences and grow personally.
He is always eager to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology, often integrating current events and relevant topics into his lessons. In his free time, Gvidas enjoy working on personal programming projects, experimenting with electronics, and indulging in music and video games, all of which contribute to his innovative and dynamic teaching style.
