Jūratė Milickienė
Jūratė graduated from Vilnius Pedagogical University with a Master’s degree in Social Sciences and qualified as a high school physical education teacher. Her extensive teaching experience began with working with students with special needs, followed by positions in primary education and high school settings. Since childhood, she has dedicated a lot of time and energy to track and field. Later, she became passionate about another sport and pursued it professionally, representing Lithuania in European and World Orienteering Championships. Volleyball eventually caught her attention, and she still devotes a significant portion of her active leisure time to it. However, sports are not her only passion—traveling, discovering new places, appreciating nature’s beauty, and attending cultural events also enrich her free time.
Jūratė’s mission as a physical education teacher is to help children find a sport they enjoy from a variety of options, one that not only brings them joy but also promotes a healthy and strong body, while building self-confidence.
She believes that sports are about more than just physical ability. It’s about self-confidence, teamwork, and personal growth. “If only you knew how well sports benefit the brain, you wouldn’t miss a single physical education class. Together, we will train both body and mind.”
