Kirra Anthony Dixon-Inturrisi

English Teacher

Before graduating with a MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Bond University Australia, Tony completed a BA (Honours) in English Literature and Writing, further developing her skills with a Graduate Diploma at Deakin University. Since then, she has achieved a level 5 Diploma in Teaching Other Subjects in English.

Before moving to Lithuania, she worked at the Provincial Office of Education in Yeosu, South Korea, where she not only taught English but other subjects close to her heart such as Animal Rights, Geography and Yoga. Additionally, in this role she taught not only school students but also other teachers, principals, civil servants and the general public who were interested in furthering their own knowledge.

When she lived in Australia, Tony volunteered as an English tutor for New Australians, where she further assisted them in settling into their new country and lives with positive experiences. Through this experience, Tony had the opportunity to share her knowledge which encouraged her to continue in a more global way.

Tony believes that learning is best done in a safe and relaxed environment where students can confidently explore and develop their interests and education. She strives to be the kind of teacher who inspires her students to see the joys of learning.
