New order of class identification in Erudito Licėjus: Lithuanian letters of the alphabet are replaced by Greek
Starting from this academic year, “Erudito licėjus” introduces a new order of class identification, abandoning the usual order, using the letters a, b, c, etc. of the Lithuanian alphabet.
In search of new ways to change the order dictated by the letters, “Erudito licėjus” chose the Greek alphabet to identify classes. Letters of the Greek alphabet are used in Lithuania and worldwide in mathematics, physics, book numbering, star names, etc. 6 letters of the Greek alphabet were chosen to denote lyceum classes – delta (Δ), epsilon (Ε), gamma (Γ), omega (Ω), sigma (Σ), zeta (Ζ). Name of a famous person remains in the class title.
