Talia received Bachelor’s degree in Foundation Phase in the University of South Africa and then started her carrier as a primary school teacher in Herzlia Weizmann Primary school, Cape Town, South Africa. As Talia has grown in her career, her curiosity has led her to explore more progressive and multi-dimensional teaching environments. Her focus is to extend her skills as a teacher to facilitate learning that incorporates 21st century skills and prepares her students to be globally-minded, knowledgeable and creative thinkers. She believes in the value of placing the student at the centre of the learning experience to allow them to take ownership for their learning.

International Cambridge program Teacher
Throughout her life, Jessie has always enjoyed learning and working creatively in a team. For her, teaching is the chance to unite these qualities and has become her passion.
Jessie has graduated from University College Absalon, Denmark with an honours degree in International Teacher education, specialising in music, physical education, English and art. Through her degree she has had the opportunity to teach in international schools in both Denmark and Italy. Over the course of her education, Jessie’s curiosity has grown and she has developed an interest in project based learning and moving learning outside of the classroom. Her goal is to create a classroom in which all students feel welcome, respected and encouraged to discover knowledge. She wants her students to guide their own learning, becoming open-minded to new experiences and to look forward to coming to school each day!
Jessie believes that ‘we must treat each other fairly, openly and with kindness, to create a positive learning environment.
International Cambridge program Teacher
Mirah received her Bachelor Degree of Education specializing in the Foundation/Primary Years Phase in 2008. She has 12 years of teaching experience working in a variety of different schools from public, private and an IB World School. Mirah has taught in Botswana where she was lucky to teach at an Inquiry-Based PYP programme at an IB School. After her time in Botswana Mirah decided to return home for 3 years to teach in Cape Town, South Africa.
Mirah’s approach to teaching is holistic. She wants children to be curious about the world. She tries her best to structure lessons that foster better communication and social skills. Mirah encourages her students to make connections in their learning across subjects and deepen their understanding of our interconnectedness with others and the environment. She builds a safe nurturing space to be creative, to think and to question. In her lessons, Mirah’s aim is to allow the children to grow emotionally, socially and academically. She uses experimental and Inquiry Learning styles and where possible to connect their learning to real-life experiences, challenges in their communities and their world.

English as a Foreign Language Teacher
Having graduated with a BA in Education and Geography from Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK, Karen has twelve years of experience in teaching and supporting primary age children.
With considerable experience in teaching ESL and Phonics, and in offering support to children with specific learning difficulties, in the UK, Malaysia and El Salvador, Karen is returning to full time work after taking a career break to raise her son. Now that he is nine years old she feels the time is right to return to the career that she is passionate about.
Most recently, Karen volunteered in the school her son attended, in Bratislava, and kept up to date with educational matters. The most recent courses she took were “Supporting children with difficulties in reading and writing” from the University of London and UCL Institute of Education & Dyslexia International, “Understanding Dyslexia” from the Open University and “Dyslexia and Foreign Language Teaching” from Lancaster University. Karen is also trained in Jolly Phonics and has delivered workshops on phonics teaching.
As a qualified holistic therapist Karen said “I believe that looking at the ‘whole person’ is of considerable benefit when applied to a classroom environment.” As well as using her holistic training in the primary school, she has also offered relaxation workshops to secondary students who are approaching their end of school exams.
Karen is very much looking forward to exploring the Baltic region with her husband Andrew and their son Brandon, and after many years of moving around they are hoping that Lithuania will be their home at least until Brandon finishes his education.
2nd Class Teacher
A teacher with 27 years of work experience in primary education. After graduating from the Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education at the Pedagogical Institute in Šiauliai, she received a master’s degree in Education in Kaunas University of Technology. Participated in the British Exibition of Education and Training Technologies (BETT) and qualification seminars in London. Daiva is interested in IT innovations for teaching and learning. In the process of learning, tools such as SMART interactive whiteboard, Mouse Mischief are used.
Daiva says that it’s never too late to study, develop, and grow, so she learns together with her students.
2nd Class Teacher
Loreta Raižienė, 4th Class Teacher with 26 years of experience in primary education. After graduating from Šiauliai University, she received a degree in primary education pedagogy, later continued her studies in social educology at Kaunas University of Technology. Loreta is interested in information technologies and integrates them in teaching processes.
Loreta believes that nobody was sucessful in the beginning in his life. During the process of growing a child must learn – it is normal to make mistakes, lose and fight. This is only a bridge which helps us to defeat the barriers and achieve our goals. Persistance and endeavours in order to achieve our goals are more significant than perfection.
4th Class Teacher
Graduated from the university, where she acquired a specialization of primary school pedagogy and methodology. She has been working as a teacher for more than 25 years. In 2014, she acquired a social pedagogue qualification at Kaunas Technological University. Jolanta has worked with children who had been temporarily deprived of parental care. A few years ago, she returned to the profession of her dreams – an elementary school teacher. “In my life, human relationships are very important to me,” says the teacher.
Jurgita believes the most important thing for the child at school is to feel well.
4th Class Teacher
Teacher of the second form. She graduated from University of Educational Sciences where she got primary teacher´s qualification. She has 16 years experience working as a teacher with small children and teenagers. She thinks that education and personal development occupies the main place in teacher´s work.
She thinks that if you seek , you achieve what you wish. You just need to wish and improve.
3rd Class Teacher
A pre-school teacher. After graduating from the KTU Economics and Business Administration, she is currently studying primary education. Much attention is paid to the development of children’s citizenship, using a variety of educational environments: theatre and museums visits, participation in state celebrations, concerts, events.
It is important to have strong values:

2. Hope that every day we can do something to make Lithuania better;
3. Love for the family and everyone around.
3rd Class Teacher
Gitana Puzinoviene joined the Erudito Liceum team with a warm and always smiling look. Graduated from Šiauliai Pedagogical University with primary education pedagogy and methodology. We are delighted that children will have such a teacher who will be an example and inspiration: “I firmly believe that every child is important, gifted and special. It is the responsibility of the adult to notice the talents and, along with the qualities of the mature personality, to help them grow, ”says Gitana, who has 20 years of teaching experience. In her spare time, Gitana strives to devote herself to self-education: she is interested in psychology, history, reading books and enjoying the moments she can visit in museums.
2nd Class Teacher
Dovilė is an educator with 26 years of experience as a primary school teacher. Dovilė graduated from Šiauliai University, where she studied pedagogy of primary education. Much attention is paid to non-traditional education, organization of activities in non-traditional spaces. Dovilė loves music, so she enjoys playing various musical instruments in her spare time.
The attitude is that children are the best critics, and teaching and learning is a great joy to understand, discover, experience.
English teacher at Erudito Licejus with five years of teaching experience. She has taught English in different countries such as Georgia, Spain, Greece and Lithuania. She is currently acquiring her degree in Political Science at Vytautas Magnus University. Nino is very passionate about teaching and learning different languages. She is fluent in three languages and is presently mastering two more. She reckons that the biggest responsibility for a teacher is to open up a “pathway of thought” in children’s minds and inspire them to the fullest. She believes in treating them seriously from the younger age and has individual approaches developed for each and every student.
Nino believes, that the root of the world “education” stands for the idea to “lead”, meaning that for her, education is leading out of what is already there in a pupil.
English teacher-lecturer with eleven years of experience in teaching English to different age groups; PTE exams assessor. Vitalija received her Bachelor of English Philology qualifying degree in Vytautas Magnus University and obtained her Master’s degree (cum laude) in Linguistics at Vilnius University. She also acquired her teaching certification from Vilnius Pedagogical University. As a student, in addition to delivering private tutorials in Spain, she participated in the Erasmus programmes and studied at the University of Jaén (Spain) and the University of Extremadura (Spain). Vitalija has been teaching English in American English School (AMES) in Kaunas for 10 years. She regularly attends teacher training workshops and seminars held for English teachers and does not miss the opportunity to go on educational trips to the UK each year.
Vitalija believes that the more languages a person knows, the more windows to the world for him/her open.
English Teacher Methodologist
Rasa graduated from Vilnius University Kaunas Humanitarian Faculty where she studied English Language and Literature and got English Philologist speciality. She has 23 years pedagogical experience, 18 of them she was working as an English teacher with primary students at J.Jablonskis Gymnasium and ,,Papartis” primary school. Together with 4th class students took part in Kaunas English Contests where they got first places. In 2007 Rasa was elected to Kaunas Council of English Teachers.She helped to organise tasks for English contest. From 2007 was working in Ireland where she was observing Irish cultural life, parenting of Irish children. Later 5years she was working pedagogical work in kindergarten in Norway where she was interested in Norwegian lifestyle, their patriotism, respect for each other and especially respect for children. Rasa came back to prove that Lithuania is the best country to live and only we can make it well known in the world.
Rasa thinks that every child is a personality and we have to find the key to his heart and help him in his life.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology from Vilnius University, she decided to further expand her knowledge of languages and obtained a Master’s degree in English Linguistics at the same university. Simona has always had an interest in the international environment, so during her studies she took part in the Erasmus program and tried her best at foreign universities: she acquired theoretical knowledge of integrated teaching at a Finnish university and then went on a traineeship in Spain.
There is a belief that mistakes are learned, so doing them is not shameful.
Teacher of French
Dalia has an incredibly broad and successful experience of 36 years of teaching: graduating from Vilnius State University in 1983 as a philologist and lecturer in French; Paul Fort College in the Burgundy Region, France. In these French lands, Dalia also participated in the EMILE integrated French language training program. “Language is an inexhaustible treasure, the key to the world, because only through communication can you create new relationships, exchange information, ideas, explore a different culture, reach career heights, and most importantly, improve,” Dalia believes.
It is important for teachers that each student should enjoy the joy of learning and have opportunities for creative expression. Thus, students are constantly trained and encouraged to participate in various French language projects, Contests, conferences, French poetry recitation, song contests and festivals. Dalia believes: “Do something a little better today than yesterday. Compare yourself not to others, but to yourself. It will help you never run out of motivation.
Teacher of Information Technology and Robotics
In 2018, he is a qualifies web developer, and has been active in international IT projects. During his spare time, Vytautas travels and enjoys music very much. He counts the number of musical contests he has conquered and is proud that there is probably no instrument that he could not play!
Vytautas believes that today’s science is the technology of tomorrow. He believes that the teacher must not only provide knowledge, but also inspire young inventors.
Theater and Religion teacher and the Eighth Grade Class Teacher
Theater and Religion Teacher and the class teacher of eighth grade. Justinas received a Bachelor of Catholic Theology from Vytautas Magnus University. For some time, he studied to become an actor. Justin is a presenter of events and training, and a facilitator of Christian activities for children and youth, and assistance in Camps. Throughout his almost eight years of active work, he has accumulated communication experience with people of all ages and social backgrounds – children, adolescents, the elderlies, the sick, the disabled, the homeless, and adults in crises. „Funny, communicative, with a wealth of public speaking experience“, – Justin describes himself as a hobbyist in theatre, literature, cinema and museums.
Justinas believes, that God gave man authenticity and sincerity, which are important to cherish both in life and in artistic projects
Music teacher Eglė is a graduate of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, awarded with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, and holds a Teaching Certificate. She continued her studies at the Kaunas University of Technology, Faculty of Humanities, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Media Philosophy. Egle also attended piano lessons at a private music school in Los Angeles.
Eglė started gaining work experience as the Head of Non-formal education at a kindergarten in Kaunas. She also writes lyrics and music, and have presented her work at various music events in Lithuania and abroad. The most memorable event took place in Los Angeles during her “Golden Nail” performance and in S. Šniras Art Exhibition. In addition to music, Eglė is also interested in astronomy and interior design.
Eglė believes, that music education will only add colour to humanity, regardless of whether one later becomes an entrepreneur or a driver. The experiences provided by music opens up the soul to the beauty of people, and towards relationships with family or friends. ”(Maestro Mstislav Rostropovich).
