Meida Bikauskė
Meida graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Lithuanian philology from Vilnius University and, in 2023, completed a master’s degree in Intermedial Literary Studies. She began her teaching career in 2017, when she taught Lithuanian to senior-grade students. Meida has experience preparing twelfth graders for final exams, teaching argumentation, analytical thinking, literary and reflective essay writing, and text interpretation.
With five years of teaching experience, she is passionate about culture—film, theatre, literature, literary theory, and the arts in general—and integrates this knowledge into her lessons. She encourages students to think critically, fosters creativity, and nurtures individuality. Moreover, she strives to maintain a close relationship with learners, serving not only as a teacher but also as a supportive listener who values each student’s uniqueness and abilities.
She believes that everything becomes interesting when explored in depth. Learning should bring the joy of discovery, and the teacher is a guiding star in achieving this goal.
