Milda Šerėnaitė
Milda graduated in Italian Philology and English Linguistics at Vilnius University and spent a year studying at the University of Parma through the Erasmus exchange program. She has a strong interest in intercultural communication, different cultures, and language learning. Her passion for languages inspired her to pursue a career as a teacher and translator.
For the past five years, Milda has been teaching English and Italian. After gaining some work experience in Lithuania, she moved to Italy to complete a Master’s degree in Translation and Linguistics at the University of Pisa. This was followed by a translation traineeship at the European Parliament. In addition to Italian and English, Milda also speaks French. She is convinced that knowing languages opens doors to a broader world.
She believes that the most important step is to build a connection with her students, and that learning a foreign language becomes easier when their interest in the culture of the countries where the language is spoken is awakened.
