Diana Šiaulytė
Diana graduated in Geography and Subject Pedagogy at Vilnius University. She had thought about becoming a teacher since childhood, and her curiosity about the world’s phenomena led her to immerse herself in the study of geography. Her studies, which included a wide range of practical training, not only helped her strengthen her theoretical knowledge but also taught her attentiveness in recognizing certain processes in real life.
In Diana’s view, experiences bring students not only knowledge but also memories, making the information they gain more memorable and engaging. “My goal as a teacher is to help children notice the world around us in everyday life and to become responsible citizens who value our home – Earth,” says the geography teacher.
Diana spends much of her free time hiking and has set herself the goal of visiting all the observation towers in Lithuania. She is now very close to achieving it!
