Eric Saa

Eric is originally from the United States. He earned his Bachelor’s degree at the University of South Carolina and his Master’s degree in Public Administration at George Washington University. After working for nearly a decade with the U.S. government, he decided to take on a new challenge. Together with his wife, he moved to China to pursue his passion for education and exploring different cultures.

While in China, Eric taught English and Cambridge IGCSE Economics. During that time, he also studied online to earn his U.S. teaching certification. After spending the pandemic years in China, he embarked on another adventure – a two-year sabbatical traveling around the world. This journey gave him the opportunity to enjoy his favorite activities, such as cooking, exploring history, and spending time in nature. After all these experiences, he is delighted to be back in the classroom, once again working with students.

He believes that students learn best when they connect their own lives with the people, places, events, and ideas they study. As an educator, his role is to create an environment where every student feels empowered to strive and become their best.
