Akvilė Kvieskaitė
Akvilė graduated in Mathematics Education at Vytautas Magnus University and is currently continuing her studies in the field of Finance. She studied abroad through exchange programs in Spain and the USA, completed summer studies at the University of Oxford, and took part in training in Germany. She also delivered a presentation at one of the largest youth conferences, Change the World Model United Nations in New York, and presented her academic paper at the Young Scientist 2024 conference.
Akvilė is a mentor for international students at Vytautas Magnus University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to different countries around the world and playing beach volleyball. Her diverse experiences allow her to approach the teaching of mathematics from multiple perspectives, connecting theoretical knowledge with practical and real-life situations, and integrating a variety of learning tools and methods into her lessons.
She believes that mathematics is a workout for the mind, fostering logical, analytical, and creative thinking. She sees the role of a mathematics teacher as working together with students to develop these skills, while helping them recognize that mistakes are a natural part of the learning process.
