Jūratė graduated in Applied German Studies at Vytautas Magnus University, where she also earned her Master’s degree. During her studies, she worked as a translator and later as a guide and educator at the Ninth Fort Museum and Kaunas City Museum. She also served as Head of Public Relations at the Ninth Fort Museum and has been teaching German privately for six years.
