Rasa Margevičienė
She graduated from Vilnius University, where she studied English language and literature, earning a degree as an English philologist and teacher. She has more than twenty years of teaching experience—spending 18 years teaching primary school children English at J. Jablonskis Gymnasium and “Paparčio” Primary School. She participated with her fourth-grade students in English language competitions, where her students often won prizes, and also contributed to creating tasks for English language olympiads.
In 2007, she was elected to the Kaunas City English Teachers’ Methodological Council. While working in Ireland, she explored Irish culture and nuances of child upbringing, and she spent five years teaching in a Norwegian preschool, where she delved into Scandinavian early childhood education methods. These approaches place particular emphasis on patriotism, mutual respect, and seeing the child as both an individual and a future contributor to the country’s well-being.
She returned to Lithuania convinced that there is no better country, and that a beautiful, bright, and globally recognized Lithuania can only be built through our own efforts.
She believes that every child is an individual. Adults who find the key to a child’s heart can earn their trust and help guide them along the right path in life.
