Marina Kornilova
Marina’s path to becoming an English teacher is unconventional. She graduated from Vilnius Tallat-Kelpša Conservatory with a specialization as a violinist-performer and a qualification as a music teacher. While teaching music, she developed a strong interest in child psychology and continuous professional growth, which led her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a specialization in Education from the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences. Marina spent several years living and working as an educator in the United States, and upon returning, joined the International American School, where she taught English for 17 years to students of various ages, from preschool to primary school.
Believes that every child is unique and full of potential. She is convinced that a teacher’s mission is to help each child uncover their individual talents. To achieve meaningful results, it is essential to give children the opportunity to enjoy the learning process.
