Anika Vučićević

During my own IB days, I volunteered as a Math tutor and would later continue to work as a student tutor in college, helping students in a range of subjects from introductory physics to advanced astronomy. I would go on to complete a Master of Science in Astrophysics and Cosmology. I find that fostering an inclusive environment where students feel safe to explore and ask questions is one of the most effective ways of nurturing students’ curiosity and growth.

As someone who has lived in four countries in the pursuit of their education, I find myself most comfortable in international and culturally diverse environments. I enjoy spending time in settings where different ideas are constantly coming to life, where students are encouraged to step out of their comfort zone and to not be afraid of failure.
