Algimanta Vaikšnytė

She earned a master’s degree at Vilnius University (Sociology and Criminology program) and a teaching qualification at a pedagogical university. Algimanta has nearly twenty years of experience teaching social sciences in Lithuania and the United Kingdom: she has taught sociology, political theory, business studies, psychology, introductory criminology, and more at universities and secondary schools.

Algimanta is a social sciences teacher and lecturer whose greatest passion is psychology (the connection between the brain and behavior). She is interested in how the digital age is transforming our individual lives and the existence of social institutions.

“I cannot imagine life without learning, because this process is full of wonderful discoveries and uncertainties, waiting for all the shadows to be removed,” says humanities teacher A. Vaikšnytė.
