Betigül Gökçekoğlu

Betigül is originally from Turkey. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature at Hacettepe University in Ankara. She also obtained a teaching certificate and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Bilkent University. Before coming to Lithuania, Betigül received her International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme teaching qualification and gained experience teaching IBDP English. She is currently in her second year working as a Cambridge Programme ESL teacher.

Understanding that teaching is a purpose-driven profession, she strives to create a positive, student-centered learning environment where each learner can experience joy in the process. She enjoys spending time in nature and appreciates all forms of art, especially cinema and literature.

She believes that teachers should inspire students to become better versions of themselves and to value art, literature, and intellectual knowledge.
