Džiuginta Gaigalienė
She began her teaching career in 1991 after graduating from the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences. In recent years, she has participated in various international trainings for science teachers, with a focus on integrated teaching and the use of virtual laboratories.
She takes great pride in her profession, as it gives her the unique opportunity to pass on her knowledge and experience to others, while also learning from children – their positive outlook on life, their ability to dream big, to keep moving forward, and to never become stagnant. As Džiuginta says, “My students are the catalyst of my life.”
Her goal is to ensure that students do not view science as impossibly difficult, but rather as an essential part of the world around us – one that is important to understand.
She believes that in this life we are all connected by countless bonds, and therefore we should strive for communication, collaboration, and mutual support to help each person grow and develop as an individual.
