Florian Sabou
Florian Sabou has seventeen years of experience teaching Mathematics and Physics at middle school, high school, and university level. Having taught in a range of settings and locations, including internationally in the USA for six years, ten years in his native Romania and one year for an online British school, Florian has also worked in the research and design division of a major electronics company in The Netherlands.
Florian obtained his Master of Science in Physics from Brown University, USA, in 2009. His graduate school research focused on data mining, direct statistical simulation of chaotic systems, and statistical analysis of reliability in low-power memory circuits.
Florian sees Mathematics education as fundamental for rewarding careers in Engineering, Science, Medicine, and Finance. His teaching emphasises the connections between Mathematics and other sciences, developing critical reasoning through careful analysis of available data and scientific information, and the role of science in technology and global citizenship.
