Indrė Douglas
Indrė was born and grew up in Lithuania. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in History and Classical Literature at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. During her studies, she read, analyzed, and interpreted a wide range of English, Ancient Greek, and Roman texts. Just before graduating, she wrote an academic paper on the Early Middle Ages – an experience that provided both valuable insights and practical reinforcement of her knowledge. After her studies, Indrė worked as a translator in the United Kingdom and even had the opportunity to contribute to a start-up, teaching both individually and in teams. This profession had always been Indrė’s life dream, and now she feels truly happy pursuing it. Indrė is currently deepening her knowledge of literature, language, and history while studying for a Master’s degree in Classical Studies at Vilnius University. She is interested in the arts, literature, and history. Indrė is deeply concerned about environmental issues and human rights violations, which is why she volunteers with various organizations whenever she can.
Indrė believes that only through kindness and understanding can our world become a better place to live.
