Inga Švedienė
Her teenage years, enriched by art, music, and dance school as well as experience in competitive ballroom dancing, shaped a strong understanding of how non-formal education supports personal growth and development. Later, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management and a Master’s in Public Administration at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) strengthened her managerial and administrative skills, as well as structured thinking. Additionally, obtaining a teaching qualification in Economics at KTU enabled her to build pedagogical experience.
For more than a decade, she has dedicated her work to students’ well-being at school, organizing events and activities, fostering community collaboration, and engaging in youth career education, career day organization, and counseling. All these experiences reinforced her strong belief that beyond formal education, non-formal learning plays a crucial role in a child’s growth. It helps young people better understand themselves, their abilities and needs, while also gaining a broader perspective on the principles that shape the world.
