Jolanta Zalubienė
She has nearly thirty years of experience teaching mathematics in schools. After graduating from Vilnius University, she qualified as a mathematics lecturer. She is the author of “Ideas for Mathematics Project Work” and a co-author of “Mathematics Tests and Independent Work for Grade 11” as well as the new mathematics textbook “Matematika Tempus 11 klasei.”
As a teacher, she takes pride in her work not only when her students win prizes in city mathematics Olympiads or achieve high scores on the national mathematics exam, but also when they discover mathematics in various areas of life. Her students have carried out unique and interesting creative project work and actively participate in student scientific conferences.
She believes that there are no untalented children – only undiscovered talents that need to be recognized and encouraged to flourish.
