Karolina Alfavickaitė
Teacher Karolina is an experienced teacher with 18 years of teaching experience. She graduated from Vilnius College with a degree in music pedagogy and obtained a qualification in preschool education from the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences.
Karolina has worked as a preschool teacher, music teacher, and also led non-formal education groups – theater, music, and STEAM. Currently, Karolina is a Lithuanian language teacher in international classes in primary and secondary education.
Through experiential education – music, dance, theater, art, games and STEAM activities – she seeks to introduce children to Lithuania, to introduce children to the culture, customs and traditions of the Lithuanian people. The teacher believes that the arts connect all the languages of the world and allow us to get to know each other and the world better.
Karolina’s values are experiential education, creativity, love of nature, freedom to express herself, enthusiasm, playfulness, dedication and responsibility, which she constantly shares with her students. In her free time, Karolina plays the guitar and sings Lithuanian folk songs and sutartines in the folklore ensemble “Volunga”.
