Vahide Erdoğan
Vahide earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics and obtained a teaching qualification to become a certified teacher. She began her career working part-time as a laboratory assistant at a university, where she gained experience combining practical experiments with new technologies. Later, while teaching physics at a secondary school, she developed an interest in computer science: she learned various programming languages and applied these skills in teaching how to solve physics problems using artificial intelligence. This approach made learning more engaging and demonstrated how modern technologies can be applied in science.
In her laboratory lessons, Vahide applied artificial intelligence techniques to analyze and visualize data. Her goal was to move away from traditional “paper-based” methods and instead use technology to make learning more efficient, helping students prepare for future scientific challenges. She has also taught online coding courses in Singapore and China. In the United States and Canada, she taught IB Physics and collaborated with American publishers in developing SAT exam questions. These experiences allowed her to gain insights into different educational systems and inspired her to equip her students with the skills needed for the future.
