    Zénó Madarasz

Originally from Budapest, Hungary, Zénó began his higher education at the University of Nottingham, where he completed an integrated master’s degree in mathematics in four years. Upon his return to Budapest, he taught mathematics at Eötvös Loránd University and completed a master’s degree in education in two semesters. He worked as a mathematics teacher at one of the best secondary schools in Hungary. Driven by a desire to understand mathematics more deeply, he decided to pursue a doctorate in mathematics at Bowling Green State University in the USA, graduating in 2023.

After his studies, Dr. Zénó embarked on a rich journey in international education, starting in Vietnam, where he gained experience as an International Baccalaureate (IB) teacher. He promotes inquiry-based learning and strives to create reflective classrooms, providing opportunities for students to explore, question, and critically analyze mathematical concepts.

He sincerely believes that mathematics can be fun to learn, and tries to find a common language with every student.

Dr. Zénó is an avid collector of vinyl records, so in his free time he goes hunting for them or works out at the gym – he tries not to miss a workout even when traveling.
