Starting September 1, 2027, a unique educational model—the first of its kind in Europe—will be launched in Vilnius. Students of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) in grades 11 and 12 at Erudito Lyceum will move to Tech Zity Vilnius, the largest technology and creative industries campus in Europe.
Located at Panerių St. 43 in the Naujamiestis district, the campus will house 100 of the most promising Lithuanian and international tech companies. Erudito Lyceum will establish about 3000 sq. m dedicated space where all classes for our senior students will take place. This move will allow our youth to become an active part of a vibrant ecosystem featuring 5,000 business professionals.
Where Future Talent Meets Business Leaders
According to the founder and CEO of Erudito Lyceum, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nerijus Pačėsa, being immersed in an active tech and startup ecosystem will create opportunities for closer collaboration with business, hands-on practical activities, and the strengthening of future-ready competencies. For parents, this translates into even broader opportunities for their children: not only high-quality academic education but also real-world preparation for future studies and a successful career.
“A modern learning infrastructure will be created for IB DP students in grades 11–12, providing opportunities for interactive learning in an innovation-driven environment, featuring spaces tailored for group work that closely resemble university settings and contemporary office hubs,” says Assoc. Prof. Dr. N. Pačėsa.
At Tech Zity Vilnius, students will be surrounded by globally recognized technology companies that will also establish their offices in the same space. These include Ovoko, one of Lithuania’s fastest-growing companies and a platform for used car parts; Omnisend, a global leader in email marketing; Plug and Play, an accelerator; Robotikos akademija, a non-formal education organization; Inbalance, a company developing electric vehicle charging infrastructure solutions; and TutoTOONS, a game development studio. This kind of environment will give students a chance to observe up close how global businesses grow and which competencies are most valued in today’s market.
A City Within a City – Europe’s Largest Tech Space
According to Darius Žakaitis, the founder of Tech Zity Vilnius, the largest technology and creative industries campus in Europe will stand out by integrating all necessary functions in one location. In addition to modern workspaces, the campus will feature 8 restaurants, relaxation zones, coworking spaces, three green courtyards, rooftop terraces, co-living spaces, a gym, and educational centers.
angl. coworking ), trys žali kiemai, terasos ant stogų bei bendro gyvenimo (angl. co-living ) erdvės, sporto klubas ir edukacijos centrai.
“By joining our community, students will be able to gain experience from entrepreneurs and industry professionals, build valuable connections, and be where the professions of the future are being shaped today. They will also benefit from an infrastructure that even the world’s best universities would envy. For example, the campus will feature the Samsung Conference Center—one of the most technologically advanced event space solutions in the Baltics, accommodating up to 1,000 participants,” says D. Žakaitis.
Scholarships for Top-Performing Students
Businesses based at Tech Zity Vilnius plan to provide scholarships for top-performing Erudito Lyceum students. This initiative aims not only to encourage academic achievement but also to involve young people in the tech world as early as possible, helping them discover their professional path.
“Business scholarships are a clear signal to students that their talent is valued by market leaders. This will provide additional motivation and allow young people to start their future path while still at school,” says the head of Erudito Lyceum.
From 150 to 250 Students
Erudito Lyceum aims to start the 2027 academic year in the new Tech Zity premises with 150 senior students. It is planned that this community will eventually grow to 250 young individuals.
