How does IBDP differ from a regular program?

IBDP is an international program in which 11th and 12th grade students work hard and purposefully to improve their various skills. They are taught to plan their time and apply higher-order thinking skills. The program develops thinking skills, encourages students to actively construct arguments, and learn about different perspectives. Classes are conducted in English.

Gabrielius Šemberas

International Baccalaureate (IB) alumnus, ISM student

At ‘Erudito’ Lyceum, besides all the essential knowledge, I learned life skills that are useful, such as collaborating with others, how to complete a project more efficiently, and understanding which qualities of each team member are the best, and so on. These questions had to be answered before starting work, which motivated improvement.

Rapolas Kazakevičius

Alumnus of the first generation of the International Baccalaureate (IB DP)

Teachers always aimed to provide flexibility, while also encouraging timely completion of tasks. There was a strong mutual respect between teachers and students. The connection between them included moments of laughter as well as meaningful conversations about the subjects.
