Primary School Teacher Vilnius
Agnetė Marozaitė

Agnetė is a teacher with a degree in Primary Education and a specialisation in teaching English as a foreign language to young learners. She began her professional journey as a private tutor and later gained further experience through teaching placements at various schools in Vilnius.
Last year, she also completed a teaching placement at Erudito Lyceum, which is where we first had the opportunity to get to know her.

Agnetė continued her professional journey in early childhood education, working with children of different ages at a bilingual school and applying discovery-based learning principles. During this time, she also actively organised private extracurricular activities for children of various ages.
Agnetė planned and led a range of creative and experiential activities, adapting them to each child’s age, individual needs, and abilities. This experience helped her develop the skills to organise the learning process independently and creatively, create engaging content for different age groups, and respond flexibly to each child’s individual needs.

Agnetė believes in an approach to education where children are active participants in the learning process and the learning environment encourages them to explore, ask questions, and find answers independently.
She places great importance on creating an open, safe, encouraging, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable expressing their ideas, are not afraid to make mistakes, and develop confidence in their own abilities.

In her free time, Agnetė enjoys reading philosophical literature that encourages critical thinking, asking questions, and looking at ideas from different perspectives.
She also aims to bring this approach into her teaching. For Agnetė, it is important to encourage children not only to accept the information they are given, but also to explore, discover, and confidently express their own ideas – even when their views are completely different from those of others.
