Primary School Teacher Vilnius
Laura Malžinskaitė-Prithiviraj

My teaching journey began in Vietnam, where I unexpectedly discovered a passion for teaching and working with young learners. Over the past six years, I have primarily taught English as a Second Language in primary schools, while also delivering project-based Global Skills and Wellbeing lessons that help students develop collaboration, critical thinking, and emotional awareness.

I strive to create a classroom where children feel safe to be themselves, ask questions, make mistakes, and enjoy learning every day. Building strong relationships with my students is at the heart of my teaching. I believe that when children feel safe, valued, and accepted, they are more willing to take risks, learn from their mistakes, and fully engage in the learning process—this is where the greatest growth takes place.

I also believe that learning should be both joyful and meaningful. That is why I enjoy incorporating games, inquiry-based learning, and hands-on experiences into my lessons to spark curiosity and encourage active participation. As a colleague, I value a supportive and collaborative school culture where teachers openly share ideas, learn from one another, and continue to grow together.
