My teaching journey began in Vietnam, where I unexpectedly fell in love with teaching and working with young
learners. Over the past six years, I have primarily taught primary English as a second language, alongside
project-based Global Skills and Wellbeing lessons that help students develop collaboration, critical thinking,
and emotional awareness. I love creating a classroom where children feel safe to be themselves, ask
questions, make mistakes, and enjoy learning every day.
What matters most to me is building strong relationships with my students. I believe that when children feel
safe, valued, and comfortable, they are more willing to take risks, make mistakes, and fully engage in learning
– which is where the real growth happens.
