Simona Matačiūnaitė
Simona is a creative, responsible, and proactive educator. She completed her studies in Early Childhood and Pre-primary Education at Vilnius College, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Management from Vytautas Magnus University Education Academy, and a Master’s degree in Educational Management from Mykolas Romeris University.
Over the past eight years, she has gained valuable experience working with young learners, creating engaging learning environments, and building strong partnerships with families. She is committed to continuous professional development, with a particular interest in contemporary teaching methods, STEAM education, and inclusive learning. Simona also holds the qualification of Senior Teacher.
In her work, Simona strives to create a safe, welcoming learning environment that nurtures children’s curiosity and independence, where every child feels accepted and encouraged to discover their unique strengths.
She believes that the first years of school should be filled with the joy of discovery, meaningful achievements, and a genuine love of learning. For this reason, she places great emphasis on active, inquiry- and experience-based learning, while fostering open and trusting partnerships with families.
Simona believes that every child can grow and thrive when surrounded by supportive and caring adults.
