Last week, our team took the opportunity of the school break for some intensive and essential training sessions as we continuously thrive to be the best that we can be.
One of the sessions was an Erasmus+ workshop lead by our honorable guest from VDU, who brought about inspiring discussions amongst our teachers. “Linguistically Sensitive Teaching”, a topic that has been heart to the pedagogical scene in the European Union, has been a journey that Erudito Licejus too, has embarked upon as a bilingual school with a strong international essence.
We reflect on how all teachers should all be linguistically responsive and responsible for our multilingual classrooms in order to better support language scaffolding and celebrate diversity, which unsurprisingly echos with the Cambridge International and the International Baccalaureate philosophy!
