Rinke Sophia Hoentjen

Ms. Rinke is an English teacher who became passionate about English literature as a high school student while taking the IB English course at her bilingual school. This motivated her to study English Language and Culture at Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, followed by a master’s degree in Tourism and Culture. To fulfill her wish to become an international English teacher, she then obtained another master’s degree specializing in international education at Utrecht University, the Netherlands, in 2023. Having completed her final season at an international school in Norway, she is now excited to start her teaching career in Lithuania.

Rinke believes that literature allows readers to glimpse into other people’s lives, which teaches them about empathy and different perspectives. She implements this vision in her English lessons.
