International summer camp in Edinburgh has already started and our adventures has begun!
Camp day 1: Trip to Glasgow. We visited Tall Ship which is one of only 5 surviving sailing ships built on the River Clyde which is world famous for shipbuilding. This was followed by a visit to the Riverside Museum which tells the story of Glasgow through the ages and has reconstructions of old Glasgow streets.
Our afternoon tea we had at the famous Willow Tea Rooms which were designed by Glasgow’s famous architect Charles Renee Mackintosh. There we had a workshop and we were introduced to the wonderful designs associated with Mackintosh, tried a stenciling technique.
