Erudito Licėjus Continues to Grow: New Campus Officially Presented in Vilnius

Right in the heart of Vilnius, in spacious and modern facilities, the “Erudito” licėjus welcomed the 2023 academic year with the addition of new premises. The opening of the new campus on October 23 marked the completion of the second stage of the “Erudito” licėjus’ development. The 6-story “Erudito” licėjus campus is located next to the original school building, expanding the school’s facilities to a total of 7,300 square meters.

In collaboration with partners “Taurus Wealth” and “YIT Lietuva”, modern specialized classrooms, multifunctional common areas, and ergonomic workspaces have been set up. The new A-class energy-efficient “Erudito” licėjus campus covers an area of over 2,800 square meters and includes 25 classrooms, a community event space, a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) modern technology laboratory, a contemporary dining area, and more.

During the project’s execution, a significant emphasis was placed on fostering cooperation, teamwork, and interdisciplinary solutions. The interior design of the Lyceum was carefully planned to enrich the educational process.

Architect Gintautas Natkevičius and his team were responsible for the architectural project decisions. The Head of “Erudito” licėjus, Dr. Nerijus Pačėsa, expressed gratitude for their work. “The school’s name itself indicates that it is different—modern and dignified. Therefore, the interior is contemporary and restrained. We chose a calm and clear structure for the school, offering a clean and straightforward design inside”, says G. Natkevičius. The designer of the premises expects that the children themselves, with their presence and energy, will balance the interior’s sobriety and create a sense of spacious simplicity and a student-friendly atmosphere.

The educational philosophy of “Erudito” licėjus is progressive and focused on holistic personal development. This is reflected in the modern, unique architectural solutions chosen for the new building, which align with the innovative educational philosophy of the Lyceum and cultivate the aesthetic taste of the students, as stated by Dr. Nerijus Pačėsa, the founder and director of “Erudito” licėjus.

During the opening event, a panel discussion on comprehensive personality development took place. Participants included “Erudito” licėjus’ founder and director, Dr. Nerijus Pačėsa, who also presented a talk on future educational trends and competency development, architect Gintautas Natkevičius, investor and philanthropist Marius Jakulis Jason, “Erudito” licėjus’ kitchen chef Gian Luca Demarco, contemporary technology teacher Justina Rinkūnienė, and the coordinator of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) for national primary classes, Dalia Valaikienė.
