Erudito Licėjus is investing in a new school building in Vilnius

“Erudito licėjus“ will have its own premises in Vilnius. Lyceum together with the Marius Jakulis Jason family property management company “Mūsų ateities investicijos“ and “Orion Wealth“ partners, has purchased a building on Aguonų Street 26, in Vilnius.

The existing building on Aguonų st. 26 is currently leased by the state-owned company Energijos Skirstymo Operatorius (ESO), but after the renovation in September, 2022 “Erudito licėjus“ will open its doors here. Building is 6,500 of sq. meters and will be modernly adapted to the needs of the school community and will stand out with highly technologically advanced solutions.

The founder and director of the school, Nerijus Pačėsa, states that the new premises will provide even greater opportunities to improve the educational conditions for students. We are very happy that next year “Erudito licėjus“ in Vilnius will move to its own premises and the latest technological, educational and ergonomic solutions will be installed in the building. The school will have a spacious courtyard, gym, specialised classes, multifunctional spaces and a swimming pool. Acquisition of own premises is a very important step in the development of the school, ” says N. Pačėsa.

Currently, “Erudito licėjus“ provides services of primary and secondary education (0-12 grades) in two locations – Kaunas and Vilnius. It is the first international bilingual school of its kind in Vilnius and Kaunas, forming a unique curriculum for grades 0-12 according to the national and accredited international Cambridge and International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma programmes.

The lyceum premises are designed by one of the most famous Lithuanian architects, the author of many exceptional projects Gintautas Natkevičius.

“The name of the school itself shows that the school is different – modern and solid. Children want to be adults from an early age, so the path has been chosen – a quiet and clear building for the school. Inside the school, we offered a clean, clear structure. The interior of the lyceum will be modern and restrained. I believe that the children themselves and their presence at the lyceum with their energy and things will offset the restraint we create, but at the same time it will not become a chaos, because there will be a balance between the simplicity of the spaces we create and presence of the children in the premises,” says architect G. Natkevičius.

Founder and head of the school assoc. prof. Nerijus Pačėsa states that the new premises will provide even greater opportunities to improve the educational conditions of students. “We want to approach a good balance between classes and common educational spaces, where we will implement formats suitable for cooperation, we will be able to foster open and creative educational formats based on the project activities of students. This is the future of education. The school will have a spacious courtyard, gym, specialised classes, multifunctional spaces and a swimming pool. Acquisition of our own premises is a very important step in the development of the school,” says N. Pačėsa.
