We are delighted to announce a significant event for Erudito Licėjus – the visit of an IB consultant from Germany to Erudito Licėjus in Vilnius on February 14-15.

The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the progress made by our primary school in implementing the IB PYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program) action plan. As you know, since last autumn, we have been a candidate school for implementing this program. This visit marks an important stage in transitioning to the IB PYP and is crucial preparation for the future.

The IB consultant met with Erudito Licėjus’ founder and director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nerijus Pačėsa, the Head of Vilnius branch Gintarė Aldonytė, international program manager Brian Brackrog, IB PYP coordinators at Erudito Licėjus in Vilnius Katarzyna Christop and Dalia Valaikienė, deputy director for pre-primary and primary education Greta Lukošiūtė, primary school program coordinator Jurgita Steponaitienė, primary school teachers, observed classes, interacted with students (students from the 4th grade introduced them to the school and its premises), and met with Erudito Lyceum investors Povilas Mačiulis and Marius Jakulis Jason. During the meeting, it was revealed that the M. Jakulis-Jason Foundation was celebrating its 5th anniversary. Additionally, last week, M. Jakulis Jason won the “Initiative of the Year” award at “Delfi Titans 2024” for long-term investments in Lithuania and financial support to Ukraine.

On February 15, the guest met with the learning systems and resources administrator Ieva Gumuliauskaitė and the information systems management administrator Dovilė Galvanauskaitė, subject teachers, educational support specialists for students Virginija Rekienė, Daiva Griškevičiūtė, and Edita Žalkauskaitė.
