Erudito licėjus Preparatory IB programme are designed to provide students of different backgrounds with a rigorous, international and broad education that prepares them for the next stage of their education and the step up to the IB Diploma. The Pre-IBD Program provides students with a high level of foundational knowledge and is linked to the IB Student Profile attributes as well as skills that encourage learners to become harmonious, communicative and inquisitive individuals.

We currently offer a Pre-IBD English language and Maths course.

Aims of Pre-IBD Programme

• To ensure students are prepared for the IB Diploma Programme.
• To ensure students have an understanding of the key subject content and are not disadvantaged in their transition to the IB.
• To ensure students are able to experience the integrated curriculum in advance of the IB Diploma.
• To be flexible and suit a range of student needs and requirements.
• To allow students to integrate with the students in their group.

Pre-IBD Programme subjects

Currently, we offer to choose a preparatory International Baccalaureate 16-hour English language course with specialist teacher Jens Vandevyvere, during which students will have the opportunity to repeat the knowledge already acquired and improve writing, reading and listening in English. Understanding of language cultures, connections and their importance will also be developed.

After completing this course, students will be able to continue their chosen subject in 11th class, but they will also have the option of choosing other IB subjects.

Subject teacher

Mr. Jens grew up in Belgium, to move to Spain in 2011 where he discovered his passion for language learning and teaching. He studied English at the Spanish National University of Distance Education (UNED) and got his teaching degree from the University of Granada.  Mr. Jens has enjoyed teaching foreign languages for many years, and he is eager to continue to live and work in an international environment and to contribute to students’ development in a meaningful way.

In order to register for the Pre-IBD Programme mathematics program you need to fill out the FORM and BUY THE COURSE.

Program time

English classes will start from 3rd of May and will end on 12th of June. Classes will be held every Monday and Wednesday.
